A Palazzo Busdraghi, with its striking, period elegance, is a
4-star hotel in Lucca, created from an old town house of the same name in Via Fillungo, the main street in the historic centre.It dates back to the 16th century and has an irregular rectangular shape with a complex distribution of internal space that derives from earlier medieval buildings.It is bounded on three sides by Via Fillungo, Via Busdraghi and Via del Portico, and the entrance to the courtyard from Via Fillungo is through a 16th-century covered loggia with a beautiful portal with Doric columns in the Civitali style.

Directions to Hotel Palazzo Busdraghi

From the motorway cacht the exit Lucca EST. Once you get through the tollbridge, follow thethe road-sign for Lucca centre (Italian= Lucca centro.). You will pass a McDonalds Drive-in, which should be on your right as you drive towards Lucca. Follow the road past the big traffic lights and over the railway bridge (looks like a big flyover). On the other side you see the old walls of Lucca in front of you as you drive down the bridge towards the round-about. Go left here (second exit of the round-about, looks almost like a �straight ahead� with a slight left angle, joining the road alongside the old walls of the town. This is a one-way system which goes clockwise around the city. Keep on going on this road (you can always see the old walls on your right) for about 3-5 minutes, passing through 2 main traffic lights until you get to the next big round-about which has got a big arch-gate through the old walls. This is the �Porta Santa Maria� (also sign-posted) and you need to turn right under the arch and through the gate inside the walls. Cross the big carpark ahead of you and turn right into the narrow lanes (pedestrian zone). The first road on your right (20 meters onwards) thereafter is the Via Fillungo.We are at the number 170.
